The Democrat Party has had it out for Donald Trump from the beginning. No matter what, they can’t get rid of him.
And Trump shared one MASSIVE victory that has Democrats losing their minds.
Democrats have been peddling lies about former President Trump ever since 2015.
It all started with the lie that Trump was somehow a secret agent of the Russians, working in lockstep with them to steal the election from Hillary Clinton.
The American public were put through years of hearings and investigations, with characters like Rep. Adam Schiff claiming there was undeniable evidence of collusion.
Of course, nothing ever came out to discredit Trump, because there was never any collusion, to begin with.
But that didn’t stop some in the media from suggesting that there still may be a chance of corruption.
But Trump was finally vindicated thanks to a damning report out of Columbia Journalism Review.
The piece was a slap in the face to The New York Times and other Pulitzer Prize winners who had covered the Trump-Russia scandal.
“The Columbia Journalism Review, in no way a conservative publication, conducted an 18-month investigation into the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax and has just issued its report,” Mr. Trump wrote on Truth Social, his social media platform.
“It is a STAGGERING, detailed account of the lies, disinformation, and complete lack of journalistic integrity exhibited by the purveyors of Fake News at the Washington Compost (sometimes known as the Washington Post), the Failing New York Times, and many other.”
The CJR report chastised reporters and editors for breaking their own standards about utilizing anonymous sources and for refusing to be upfront about their efforts to prove linkages between the Trump campaign and Russia in 2016.
It also criticized the news outlets for failing to acknowledge that the allegations of coordination with Moscow were never proven.
As he starts a White House run in 2024, the ex-president is seizing the occasion to repeat his accusations that the 2020 election was stolen from him.
“This Fake News, with all of its disinformation, had a huge impact on the 2020 Presidential Election, just one of the many ways that the Election was Rigged and Stolen,” he said.
Mr. Trump was interviewed twice for the study, and according to CJR, he “remains furious over what he calls the ‘witch hunt’ or ‘hoax,’ and remains obsessed with [special counsel Robert] Mueller.”
“I realized early on I had two jobs,” Mr. Trump said. “The first was to run the country, and the second was survival. I had to survive: the stories were unbelievably fake.”
According to some polls, Mr. Trump continues to lead the Republican Party, while others believe Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis would be a tough opponent in a hypothetical 2024 primary contest.
And with Nikki Haley likely to enter the race in the coming days, the Republican primary is just starting to get good.
