It’s often far too easy for politicians to get away with their wrong-doings. But this Leftist wasn’t so lucky.
And a leading Democrat’s career is on the ropes after GOP proposal surfaced.
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has faced a world of controversy over the past several months.
She continues to put America last and champions policies that will only seek to destroy this country.
But now she’s being held accountable for her poor decisions thanks to a resolution that was proposed by this Republican congressman.
Last week, Omar went to Columbia University to observe the anti-Israel protests that were happening on the campus.
When speaking to a reporter during her visit, Omar said, “We should not have to tolerate antisemitism or bigotry for all Jewish students, whether they are pro-genocide or anti-genocide.”
I had to listen twice to make sure I heard this right because it’s utterly repulsive. @IlhanMN casually calls Jewish students “pro-genocide or anti-genocide.”

This response angered many who believed that Omar was being antisemitic, including Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE) who proposed a censure resolution against the Minnesota Rep.
“Folks can protest Israel, but don’t blame Jewish-American students for Israel. That is by definition anti-Semitism,” Bacon said, as reported by Axios.
Rep. Bacon also pointed out that “talking about pro-genocide Jewish students is wrong.”
One of Omar’s spokespeople fired back at the critiques that were being lobbed her way.
“Congresswoman Omar clearly condemned antisemitism and bigotry for all Jewish students,” spokesperson Jacklyn Rogers said to Axios.
“Attempts to misconstrue her words by drafting this baseless resolution are meant to distract from the ongoing violence and genocide occurring in Gaza and the large antiwar protests happening across our country and around the world.”
This isn’t the first time Omar has been threatened to be censured.
A few months ago, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) brought forward a censure resolution against Rep. Omar for alleged “treasonous statements” that were made while speaking to Somali-Americans.
That resolution wasn’t voted on, however.
Either way, Rep. Ilhan Omar continues to show that she is wildly incompetent to serve as a member of Congress.
That statement can be said about the rest of her fellow “Squad” members in the House, such as Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI).
